Editor's Opinion
I believe that starting a business it's not easy. But it's worthed it. I mean think about it, as millionaire once said really: "A job would bring you a living, a business would make you a fortune." Well, of course it all depends, how we see business. I really recommend that if you want to start a business, start it because you are really an entrepreneur, not becuase you don't want a boss anymore or any external reason. Why? Because if you are not an entrepreneur, and you just want to be in business by yourself, it's like having a BIG ENORMOUS Job. Think about it for a second, you are going to be in the business and you cannot leave your business with permission, you don't have privileges, etc... I don't say that being in business is bad, of course not! But I believe you should be REALLY an entrepreneur to go on business. If you are, think, learn and go out. One last recommendation, don't give details of your plans to friends and family, just a small part of it, because even though they care about you, they won't understand you and prepare to hear criticism on your idea. So first, you prove it, and second you talk about it.

This is an excellent business book. You know this two authors researched for many years great companies like Motorola, Nordstorm, 3M, Boeing, Marriott, to name a few why they are so successful, why they are "visionary" companies that had survived all these years and had grown tremendously. If you want to know how these companies did it, you have to read this book, it tells you the habits of these successful companies, and how you can also applied it to your business. So I recommend you tremendously if you want to make a visionary lasting company, look no further.

Editor's Opinion (Michael Dell Is Back)
Michael Dellfrom Dell Computer, is back. He returned now as CEO of the company he founded on his college dorm room (with just $1,000 bucks, that's right!), he would be right on business, making everything possible to regain #1 computer company from Hewlett-Packard. I really believe Michael Dell can make it, he made a multi-national company almost from scratch, when IBM was a big monster, and got the #1 spot for many years. I know Dell can executed, but time would tell.

If you want to know about a great start up, this is your story. It talks about David Neeleman, founder and CEO of JetBlue. A great book. Neeleman was born in Sao Pablo, Brazil, then he moved to the States, he left school and entered the airline business, because he was excited about the derregulation of this type of business. He started working at Morris Air, which was sold to Southwest Airlines, then he was fired from Southwest Airlines, because he was the type of person who was creative and think "Out Of The Box", they didn't like him. After that, he created a new business called Open Skies which helped airlines with their reservation of tickets. In 1998 he started JetBlue and the rest is history. I tell you, this book is well written, I really recommend it.

Thank you for your time at JetBusiness. What is JetBusiness? First of all a business blog. Not your typical blog, talking about stuff that doesn't have to do with the topic. I personally love business in any sense, I have lots of business books and the reason I started JetBusiness Blog is because I love to talk about business, and express ideas of others, as well quotes, reviews, information.
